Almost Home Pigeon Rescue

Adopt

Partner Rescue Adoption

Almost Home works with area rescuers and rehabilitators to help every bird in need find their forever home.

How It Works

From application to welcome home.

1

Reach out to us

Email us at info@almosthomepigeons.com and request an adoption application.

2

Fill out the application

Complete the application form, and be sure to mention which birds you are interested in.

3

We connect you with the partner

Almost Home will share your application information with the partner organization, who will reach out to you. They may have additional application steps.

4

Coordinate pickup

Once approved with the rescue partner, they will coordinate pickup logistics with you!

Important Note

Each rescue partner operates a little differently.

Rescue partners have different ways of operating, for example:

  • Apparently healthy birds may not be vetted
  • Supplies and toys provided may differ
  • Transport availability may differ
  • They may have differences in the terms of their adoption agreement

Even if the bird is listed for adoption on Almost Home's website, all liability and responsibility is between the applicant and the partner rescue organization.
