Chicken is a sweet little Serbian Highflyer who was found wandering the streets of Brooklyn in the hot New York summer. Thanks to her amazing finder-foster home she got the 5-star hotel treatment as a house-bird from day one. She has a positive view of people, and comes right up to the cage door when it's time for food or exercise. Like most adult pigeons, she's not big on touch from folks she doesn't know, but she has the rest of her pampered princess life to change that!

Chicken is currently available for adoption, but she has not seen the vet for a wellness check. She was found apparently healthy, quarantined and dewormed for over 30 days with her finder-foster, and has had several clear fecal screens while in care at Almost Home. September 17, 2026
