A teeny tiny domestic pigeon was found limping and exhausted in Southington, CT with no band and no ticket home. With a broken foot hindering their ability to take off and fly, it was fate that a kind samaritan scooped them up and gave us a call. According to Almost Home's policy, young pigeons are not adopted out younger than 5 months of age, because their personality changes drastically when they reach sexual maturity! We look forward to sharing more about their personality as they blossom in our care.
