Senator is a stately senior homing pigeon found unbanded with a wing injury. We expect that Senator is over 10 years old, and homing pigeons don't reach that age by accident. He will be spending the rest of his 30-day stray hold in the lap of luxury, hoping that a home--old or new--is waiting for him. Senator has a humerus fracture. Due to his age, he is not a candidate for surgery, but his break is already starting to calcify and he is already regaining movement in his wing!
