Khoury escaped an encounter with a dog, and we believe he was being used as bait. His flight feathers were plucked, he had dropped his whole tail, and he had injuries to his face and neck. He has been living as a housepet so he can get maximum socialization with humans and birds, and has come WAY out of his shell, loves to play with toys and will even play-fight a plush in my hand!
